Therapeutic Effects Of Green Tea

As I've said on my previous post, my post will be Green Tea to give out some informations to those who are interested to learn the benefits of Green Tea. To start with;

"Green Tea is popular in China and other Asian countries for thousands of year. Green Tea has been shown to have significant medicinal as well as therapeutic properties. Like the black tea more familiar in Western countries, green tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant. The difference between black and green teas lies in their processing. Black teas is fermented, whereas green tea, is prepared from steamed, dried leaves and is not allowed to ferment. Some types of Green teas are lightly roasted. The minimal precessing helps retain the tea's green color to give a flowery aroma and fresh flavor and to also to preserve the active ingredients that produces health benefits.

    • It also invigorates the body and improves concentration.

    • All tea leaves contain caffeine, tannins, essential oils, polyphenols, vitamins, minerals and trace elements (such as flouride).
    • It is an anti-inflammatory
    • Lower blood cholesterol levels,
    • High beneficial effects on the circulation and liver
    • Protects against tooth decay
    • and Detoxifies blood.
    • The floride found in green tea hardens tooth enamel and makes more resisitant to decay. (Do not give tea to infants because it may inhibit iron metabolism).
